Today I will share my experience about the thinking process and concepts that will determine the span of a door awning and awning.

In actual use, the concept may have many different forms, depending on the experience of use.

Real work, including personal factors such as cost, money, knowledge, experience, etc.

So there is no right or wrong, but today I will share with you the main things you need to think about before you start doing anything.

Example of an awning or roof structure for a warehouse or factory.

3 important points, principles of thought, decision making on how many meters to design the awning and how many meters to extend the roof frame for use.

More extention is better, but it depends on the remaining setback. If you extend too much, it will exceed our area.

And it depends on the construction budget because the price of this canopy is around 1950 - 2500 baht/square meter.

1. In case there is a door, whether it is a large door or a small door, there should be an awning to protect from rain and sun to prevent the door from being damaged quickly and prevent water from entering.

The design of the overhang to prevent rain for large doors and rolling doors should extend approximately 2-3 meters. For UPVC doors, it should extend 0.5-1 meters.

The awning distance should be higher than the door by only 0.5-1 meter. It should not be too far away.

2. In case of using it to load goods, do not want the car to be exposed to the sun or rain while loading goods, do not let the rain splash too much. The awning should be designed to have a span of 5-6 meters.

3. In the case of small windows, sliding windows that are attached to the wall that is exposed to the sun or rain, you may need to consider having an awning to cover it. Designing it at about 0.5-1 meters is sufficient. This will definitely solve the problem of water entering the window.
